Khan employs a variety of remote sensing and geophysical tools to investigate different geological and environmental issues. Current research is centered on three primary areas:  
1.    Critical Minerals and Bedrock Studies  
2.    Coastal Erosion and Resilience  
3.    Tectonics and Active Faulting
